Composting Class -- part of the Extension Lifestyle Series

Are your cut grass, limbs, and garden trimmings out-of-control? Then it must be time to start a compost pile or improve your existing one! Janet Hall, of the WSU Waste Extension Waste Wise Program, will offer a class covering everything you need to know to begin a yard waste compost system in your backyard or improve your existing compost sytem! Also learn the safe way to use animal manures in your garden. Composting saves money and is a great way to dispose of yard and kitchen wastes thus lowering garbage bills and saving valuable landfill space. The end product is a great mulch or soil amendment for your garden.

Saturday, July 25, 2009 10 am to 11 am -- Good Cheer Garden, Bayview Corners.
